What We Do

Sisterhood

AEPhi Tulane is known for an extremely strong sisterhood and the bond shared between sisters. Walking around campus, you're guaranteed to see AEPhi's walking together, waving hi to each other, and stopping to catch up. Every semester, we plan multiple sisterhood bonding events around Tulane - past events have included tie-dying, cupcake making, workout classes, movie nights, and more! Sisterhood is something we at Alpha Epsilon Phi take to heart.

Scholarship

AEPhis hold themselves to very high standards in every aspect of their lives, and schoolwork is no exception. Our VP Scholarship promotes high academic achievement for all of our members, keeping in mind that our primary reason our members are in college is for academics. "Cram Jam" is one of our most beloved scholastic events; during this event, sisters take a break from studying and meet up at the house, where plenty of snacks and goodies are waiting for them. In addition to Cram Jam, we schedule resume, writing, and interview workshops, all of which provide useful tips and connections for our sisters when they start applying for jobs and internships.

Phi-lanthropy and Community Service

There is no better feeling than giving back to the community and helping out those in need. At AEPhi, we are lucky enough to support two incredible philanthropies - the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and Sharsharet. Some of our past events have included "Pie AEPhi," bake sales, car washes, trunk shows, and of course, our annual AEPhashion Show. In 2013, we raised $7,000 for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and were awarded second place at the AEPhi National Convention for philanthropy. In addition to our philanthropy events, we schedule multiple community service events to help out the Tulane and New Orleans communities. Beautify Broadway and Habitat for Humanity are a few of our favorite causes.
